The NBA Women Forum, under the esteemed leadership of Chairperson Chinyere Okorocha, recently had the distinct honour of visiting Justice Mary Odili, JSC (Rtd), in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to officiate her investiture as a forum patron.
This significant ceremony, which marked a pivotal moment for the association, featured Justice Odili’s symbolic robing with the Forum’s distinguished pink sash and rosette. After this, Justice Odili was presented with her official office plaque, formally recognising her new role.
A distinguished delegation from the Forum attended the event, including the Secretary, Irene Pepple; the Head of the Membership Committee, Ugwochi Agala; the Coordinator of the Membership Committee, Ogechi Wodike; the Deputy Head of the Young Female Lawyers Committee, Barbara Abayomi; and other esteemed members.
The appointment of patrons like Justice Odili is a cornerstone of the current administration’s strategy, which aims to ensure the NBA Women Forum’s sustainability and enduring legacy. This investiture reaffirms the Forum’s commitment to its mission and honours the contributions of its most distinguished members.
