NBA President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, Directs Branches to Monitor #EndBadGovernance Trials

Distinguished Colleagues,

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), led by President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has directed NBA branches to closely monitor the trials of #EndBadGovernance protesters. In a significant move, the NBA President has also launched a pro bono legal support initiative for protesters who lack legal representation.

The President has tasked the Nigerian Bar Association Citizens’ Liberties Committee (NBA-CLC) with working in close coordination with the Chairmen and Human Rights Committees of NBA branches in the regions where protesters are currently being prosecuted to ensure that no defendant suffers injustice during these trials.
