The 2024 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos commenced with an exceptional Jumat prayer service. Held at the Central Mosque on Nnamdi Azikiwe Street, Lagos Island, the prayer session was a gesture of gratitude and thanksgiving to Almighty Allah for successfully completing the YC Maikyau-led administration.
This religious observance was intended to mark the end of the administration’s tenure, acknowledging the divine guidance that has led to its achievements. As the Holy Quran states, “If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more” (Quran 14:7), reminding the faithful of the importance of gratitude in all circumstances.
